Fast Track Hairdressing Courses … “start a successful career in hairdressing”
This Fast Track Hairdressing Course is designed for beginners who want to become a hairdresser in as short a time as possible.
Previous experience is not necessary but you must be self-motivated, organised and above all passionate about hair. We will teach you all the skills you will need to become a proud professional hairdresser.
If you join us here in The Academy you will spend your morning's firstly training on blocks and quickly moving on to clients. After lunch you will study the theory and science of hairdressing in line with NVQ Level 2 requirements.
This course can be undertaken to achieve a National Vocational Qualification Level 2 in Hairdressing if desired, as The Academy is a City and Guilds Centre.
You will be able to take advantage of continuous assessment when delivering services to clients and The Academy is able to offer online GOLA Testing so all exams are multiple choice and results are immediate. (It also means that our candidates do not need to submit assignments).

- Consultation and Client Care
- Health and Safety
Course work consists of a combination demonstrations and workshops, alongside theory work and seminars. Study notes and online learning materials will also be supplied.
NVQ Portfolio and Log Book will be supplied for anyone who would like to take the qualification but we cannot promise that you will pass. That will depend on the effort of the individual. Work experience will be necessary to achieve the NVQ.
All candidates will receive an Andrew Price Level 2 Diploma on successful completion of the Course.
Diplomas are available for a full level 2 Course or discrete units.

- 40 week NVQ 3 days a week £9,920.00
- 20 week Cutting and Styling 1 day a week £1,220.00
- 20 week Colouring 1 day a week £1,460.00
